An apostille is a certificate that authenticates official and academic documents to use in foreign countries. These include birth/death/marriage certificates, degrees, diplomas, certificates etc.

Apart from the HRD/MEA and Embassy attestations NORKA-ROOTS has started the Apostille attestation service through the Regional Centers of NORKA-ROOTS.

As per the treaty made by the Hague Conference of the listed below countries, the attestation of certificates by their concerned Embassies or High Commissions are not necessary, instead, these countries accept the Apostille Attestation.

The Officials of the Ministry of External Affairs, India shall attend for, and on behalf of these 98 nations, Ministry of External Affairs is responsible for Attestation and Apostille of documents for use in those countries abroad.
